We all need time back in our days. Especially when there are a million tasks to complete, hundreds of emails piling up and not enough hours to finish everything you set out to do. Here’s the good news: You can save time, reduce effort and minimize your investments by leveraging something as simple as automation and bulk actions.
One of the strongest aspects of Northpass is our open API.
It allows developers to customize the way the Northpass platform interacts and communicates with customers’ systems. The best part? We’ve created a ton of common bulk actions to make it that much easier to start creating efficiencies.
Hey developers! Over here!
Leverage our open API to streamline learner, course and group enrollments. Take a peek at our Developer Hub to see Northpass’ full documentation.
In the meantime, here are several of endpoints to get you started that are most commonly used by our customer base:
-
- Bulk invite people to your academy: Upload your users all at once to expedite the launch of your learning program.
- Bulk create groups for an academy: Programmatically import users into groups to make reporting more actionable and relevant.
- Add courses to groups: Use this to assign courses to groups, rather than individuals. This saves time during the implementation process.
Don’t have a developer? No problem.
Here’s another tip and trick that doesn’t require developer resources.
When you’re adding users within our People tab, you can add up to 1,000 values in one shot. Now, you can go back to the break room and enjoy that second cup of coffee. Just make sure to copy and paste the emails using commas to separate them.
Want some more? OK!
Boost your efficiency by saving your reporting filters for future exports. Our analytics dashboards allow filters to be saved and preset for future use so administrators can pull common reports quickly and effortlessly.
The following reports utilize preset filters:
-
- Course Progress Stats
- Single Course Analysis
- Single Quiz Analysis
If you start small and gradually implement what I’ve noted today, I am confident you’ll start to get some time back in your day. But, the real question is, what do you plan on doing with it? Perhaps reinvesting it back into improving your learning programs? If so, let us know how we can help!
