New features
- First in a series of SCORM enhancements to make its debut, is the auto-completion of activities. Previously, learners were required to click the “Continue” button to actually complete the activity. Now, when a learner fully views a SCORM activity, the Northpass platform will recognize this action and automatically complete it for users.
- Knowing the level of customization our customers desire, we wanted to help you jazz up your login pages. To do so, we’ve added a new custom template to our collection. Found in our GitHub repository, check out the new login.html.liquid, which allows you to customize the look and feel of your Login pages. Make a splashy first impression! If you’re a school using pre-registration, this is right up your alley.
Enhancements
- We’ve extended our API to give you the ability to view any webhooks that have been sent. In the event you’re missing a webhook, or perhaps one failed to reach your system, this will come in handy.
- We’ve enhanced support for OAuth 2.0, which will allow you to specify group enrollments as part of the authorization flow. Forget about having to manually add learners to groups, post-authorization. Not familiar with Single Sign-on (SSO)? Maybe you should be! SSO simplifies authentication for learners, and we support many SSO industry-standard protocols — like OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect — to meet our customers needs.
- Admins can now view the certificates learners achieve, right from the Credentials Awarded dashboard.
Bug fixes
- By default, all email communications use the School Logo at the top of every email. It isconfigurable, but we now scale the default logo image to fit within the email header better. Previously, this logo was rendered at the same size in which the file was uploaded, which resulted in varying outcomes.
- Rectangular images used within our matching quiz question type now scale properly to fit within a learner’s view.
- Our Preview School page has been simplified, both for accuracy and efficiency.
